Your Book's Holiday Wish List

Dear Writer,

I am talking to you. Yes, you. I have some gifts I would like from you, so I am writing you this note.

I know what you are thinking. You are probably wondering why I don't have an Amazon wish list. That's because I am supposed to BE on people's wish lists.  The only way for me to reach that goal is if you give me the following things:

1) Complex characters

2) An edge-of-your-seat plot

3) A believable yet wonderful world

4) Good writing

5) Hilarious moments

6) A few poignant scenes that will incite tears

7) A great editor/writing coach

Don't expect me to leave milk and cookies out for you. All I can do is give you bragging rights and the title of "author."

Love,

Your Book

P.S. I know you aren't watching me all the time because you haven't finished me yet. You don't have Santa's omniscience (or that creepy elf's Orwellian monitoring abilities).
